The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts is in full swing for its 59th year. After kicking off on Wednesday with Children and Youth Day, the annual Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition got underway Thursday and continues through Sunday in downtown State College and on the University Park campus.
The event is bringing together visitors, residents, Penn State students, alumni, vendors and art enthusiasts to gather downtown and on campus during a warm and humid week in Happy Valley.
While the festival sprawls across several blocks of State College and on campus, Allen Street is at the heart of the event, featuring local vendors, live entertainment and engaging activities and water games for children and families.
Hundreds of artists and vendors from across the country were met with thousands of students, alumni and families for the opening day of Arts Fest’s 2025 Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition.
